The speculated 2014 Chrysler 200 might not appear or perform same as the 200 models we see in the current line. It is most likely that the new-gen model will divert away from the design and styling followed by present generation 200 sedans and convertibles. The new model is likely to be developed on Dodge Dart platform.

This means that 2014 Chrysler 200 may come with a brand new nameplate and much fancier outlook. The current-gen 200 is nothing but a facelifted version of the legendary Sebring. Now the news of a new gen 200 should not surprise us as the automaker definitely wanted to buy sometime before they could roll out something new as 200’s official successor.

The new vehicle is expected to be developed on CUSW platform, which is jointly developed with the company’s new Italian partner, Fiat. The vehicle is expected to be released sometime in late 2013 but we definitely do not know what it would look like.

Few pictures of a possible design of the upcoming 200 were rendered by Colin Bonathan, a Lawrence Technological University design student. He has been on a constant state of evolution with his continuous designs and drawings of these upcoming models.
