The 2013 edition of Dart will be marketed in 5 well appointed trim variants and as per Chrysler Group LLC the pricing of the vehicle will fall in the range of $16,000 – $22,500. The automaker announced that one of its most anticipated vehicles will hit the showrooms this June. The 5 different variants are SE, SXT, Rallye, Limited, and R/T variants.
The pricing of the entry level SE starts at $15,995, which does not include the destination charge of $795. The next in line SXT is priced at $17,995 and Ralleye is $1K costlier at $18,995. The higher-end Limited again gets dearer by $1K. The top of the line R/T is costliest at $22,495. R/T is expected to go on sale in the third quarter of the year.
The automaker says that the upcoming 2013 Dodge Dart is going to take the concept of customization to the next level. The vehicle will be marketed in 14 different cabin colors, 12 exterior body paints, 3 power-train options, 3 gearbox choices, and 6 different wheel choices.
The entry level SE comes powered by a 2.0liter 16 valve Tigershark I-4 power-plant. The top of the line R/T gets a 2.4liter Tigershark MultiAir 2.4 cylinder engine, which generates 184hp and 171 lb-ft of torque.
